Tourists double through influencer marketing

31 influencers were rewarded by Wanfu Hot Spring, an internet-famous scenic spot in Cili County, at the 3rd Zhangjiajie Hot Spring Water-sprinkling Festival on the evening of August 9. The top 3 winners can enjoy free experience in Wanfu Hot Spring, Zhangjiajie Cliff Seam and Wulei Mount for life.

In order to promote the tourist resources in Cili County and boost the recovery of tourist industry, the organizing committee planned to recruit Tik Tok users in Hunan Province to discover the most beautiful areas in Zhangjiajie from the late July to early August, attracting nearly 200 people. They created 831 pieces of different works, with a total number of more than 7 million views. One of the most popular video has racked up more than 2.3 million views. The social influencer marketing worked very well.

“We guide the audience to pay close attention to the water-sprinkling festival, and build popular tourism IP and internet-famous products through we media channels including short videos and live broadcast.” A person in charge of the scenic spot said that this activity combines the mature scenic spot mode with novel tourist activities, making all-for-one tourism and experience tourism become concrete products to achieve a win-win situation.

Data shows that in the first ten days of August, the number of tourists received by Happy Water of Wanfu Hot Spring rose by 100%. Zhangjiajie Cliff Seam scenic spot has also become the first choice for many tourists to enjoy coolness in summer.
