Maoyan vine tea

By Zhuang Yurong | Updated : Mar 19, 2021
Maoyan vine tea is also called longevity vine and magic tea. It has a unique taste and a sweet aftertaste. The vine is covered by a layer of natural “meringue”. With strong vitality, no beasts or poultry dare to eat the vine, and there are no viruses or mosquitoes in the environment where it grows. It can kill Staphylococcus aureus and other bacteria, diminish inflammation, alleviate heat, detoxify the body, ease pain, relieve swelling, lower lipid and blood pressure, relieve cough, and improve the immunity.

Tujia people in Xiangxi drank the tea made of the vine when they had a cold, frequent urination, acne, or other problems about several hundred years ago. They thought the unique fragrance of the tea and the magic functions of curing diseases were the favors of the immortals. According to a research, none of the Tujia people who drank the tea had hypertension, hyperlipidemia, obesity, or cancers, and there were many healthy old people who were over 70 years old, so it is called longevity vine, Tujia magic tea, and Tujia nectar.

The ways of brewing Maoyan vine tea:

1. Use a vacuum cup for better effects;

2. Add 200 to 300 ml of hot water and 2 to 4g of tea, and drink after five minutes;

3. Drink the tea twice or three times a day;

4. The tea can be brewed for three times, so one can add water after drinking.

Warm tip:

The taste of the tea and the effects may vary due to the different temperature and amount of water, the amount of tea, and the brewing time.
