Zhangjiajie Tourism Commodity Industrial Park opens

Zhangjiajie Tourism Commodity Industrial Park opened recently.
Zhangjiajie Tourism Commodity Industrial Park is located in the Shadi Subdistrict. Relying on the rich tourism resources and profound cultural heritage of Zhangjiajie, the park aims to build a new complex integrating tourism, vacation, leisure, shopping and wellness, a leading position for promoting Tujia culture, build a model park for the modernization of tourism commodity production, marketing, research and integration of tourism, shopping and entertainment, building the largest and most professional tourism commodity industrial park in the province.
With a planned area of 1,225.2 mu (about 81.7 hectares), and a total investment of 5 billion yuan, the project will be implemented in three phases.
The first phase of the project covers an area of 287 mu (about 19.13 hectares), which is composed of a commercial pedestrian street and 10 enterprises.
Now, the geological park, Junsheng sandstone painting cultural and creative industrial base, Tujia brocade cultural and creative park, the Chinese medicine industrial park and the commercial pedestrian street have been open to the public. The main structure of the silver museum has been completed.
Once competed, it’s expected that the park will receive more than 3 million visitors annually, with a total output value of more than 2 billion yuan. This will provide a better platform for innovation and development of Zhangjiajie’s tourism commodities, offer a more comfortable shopping and entertainment venue for citizens and tourists, and contribute to Zhangjiajie’s high-quality development.
